Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah (born in India) is a playback singer also known as an actress, musician and playback singer. She primarily works as an actor and a music composer for Tamil as well as Malayalam-language movies. Annayum's Rasoolum, her Malayalam as well as Tamil debut. She made her debut in Tamil alongside Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea Jeremiah grew up in an Anglo-Indian home in Arakkonam Tamil Nadu. Andrea's father was an attorney at the Madras High Court lawyer. There is a younger sister who is a resident of Leuven Belgium as researcher assistant. Jeremiah lived close to Chennai She went to National Public School before graduating from Women's Christian College. Andrea started studying classical piano when she was eight. Andrea was in the 2006 leo coffee commercial with Shiva. In 2006, she also appeared in a serial which relayed in Podhigai channel. She has performed in India. She appeared briefly in Kanda Mudhal's finale (2005). After she rendered a song in Gautham Vasudev Menon's Vettaiyaadu the director asked her to join the main female character in his next venture Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea portrays Kalyani which is a wife and mother whose man is in love with her. Andrea was chosen to play Kalyani in the wake of Simran Shobana, Tabu and other actresses were asked to audition for the role. The film came out during the first half of 2010. Her minor role was accepted for Venkat's Mankatha in 2011, which featured a variety of actors. Annayum Rasoolum, a romantic film made by Rajeeev Rath made in 2013, marked the actress's Malayalam debut.
