Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco (born Angela Maria Ani DiFranco) is an American and Canadian musician and singer. Her albums span over 20 years. Her music is classified as folk rock and alternative rock although it includes influences from punk funk hip hop and jazz. A feminist icon widely recognized as Grammy award winner Ani DiFranco is the mother of the DIY movement. She was one of the first musicians to launch her own label 1990. DiFranco was born in Buffalo New York on September 23 1970 the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross) and Dante Americo DiFranco and Dante Americo DiFranco, who become acquainted while at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her mother hails from Montreal and her father comes from Italian origins. 32 Flavors was a track written that was performed and written by Ani DiFranco. It was included as the fifth single from DiFranco's 1995 studio album Not a Pretty Girl. The song appeared on the soundtrack for the Canadian romantic comedy Better Than Chocolate, released in 1999. DiFranco acknowledged her apology in 2013, when it was discovered that she was hosting the three-day event on a Louisiana past slave plantation. The course was postponed, however, she did not express any regret. DiFranco apologized a couple of days afterward. Although she is known by the name of Little Folksinger her music has embraced many styles and collaborations that range in a variety of styles from Pete Seeger to Chuck D to Prince. Her home is New Orleans. Ani diFranco, and Kristen Ford are together. Her first songs were written at the age of 14. The songs were performed in the bars and cafes throughout her teens. DiFranco, who graduated in the age of 16, from Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts High School began to attend classes at Buffalo State College. Her new baritone is a custom Alvarez built by Chrys Johnston who at the moment was employed as the Alvarez Artist Rep.
