Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe was born into an ethnically mixed family. She has a mother who is English and her father Nigerian. She was born in the south London council estate and when she was fourteen, she attended The Brit School. She pursued acting studies in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. She was a part of various performances on stage during her college days, such as the King Henry V and Wuthering Heights.
Madekwe began acting with Storm Damage. Since then, she has appeared in Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe scored her first motion picture in the 2007 Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream, opposite Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor. After that, she played Elisha in the one-off BBC Three drama pilot West 10 LDN which aired in 2007 and she also appeared in the six episodes of Trexx and Flipside in the role of Ollie. In 2008, Madekwe landed Bambi, the lead role in the ITV2 comedy Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Madekwe was a part of the Comedy film How to Lose Friends & Alienate People. Theatre credits for Madekwe include Little Sweet Thing and Flight Path.
Madekwe's US debut was in 2009, with the drama The Beautiful Life. The drama aired for just two episodes before being removed from The CW. Ashley Davenport was her role in the ABC drama Revenge. After appearing on the show for the first two seasons the show was announced late May 2013 that Madekwe was set to leave the show after her appearance on the pilot episode from the 3rd season. The actress played Tituba in the TV program Salem in 2014 until 2016. Madekwe married her long-time partner, Iddo. They have worked together on Secret Diary of a Call Girl and also was a character on the show Salem.

Ashley Leggat grew up in Hamilton Ontario with a huge family. Her four older brothers were present as well including twins Todd & Bram, Brett & Rob. Ashley grew in arenas or baseball parks since her brothers, who were all athletic, played hockey and baseball and basketball in spring and summer. Ashley had never been able to walk. She would dance. So when she was just 2 1/2 years old and a half, she was a part of Baby Ballet. It was then that she discovered Ashley's interest in dance. Ashley continued to perform competitively through high school graduation, in top divisions such as tap, Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Acrobatics, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, and much more. She won the top individualist in all the main dance contests, including, International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers 5-6-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, and Dance, Dance, Dance to name a few.
