Meagan Good was born Panorama City, Los Angeles on August 8, 1981. Her mother Tyra Wardlow Doyle was her manager when she was in her teens. She began her career as an actress at the age of four old. At the beginning of her career, she was an extra on television shows like Doogie Howser Amen and M.D. When she was thirteen, her debut role in a feature film took place. She first became famous in 1997 for her role in the role of Cisely batiste (a struggling teenage girl) as a troubled teenager in Eve's Bayou, for which she won two nominations as well as an N.A.A.C.P. Image Award nominated. Good played small parts in TV and film shows over in the following years. In the early 2000s her acting career began to take the roles of a more mature. The following year, she started her career on screen in the web-series If Can Dream. Kara Killmer began her career on screen in the year 2010 following her appearances in several local plays. She appeared in Simon Fuller's Hulu Series If I Can Dream in its first episode. The show centers around a troupe of actors who live in a Hollywood California house.
