Meagan Monique Good was born August 8 1981 in the Panorama City neighborhood of Los Angeles to Tyra Wardlow-Doyle, her mother who managed her in her teens. Her father Leondis Leon Good is an LAPD police officer. Her acting career began at age four. She grew up in Canyon Country, California with three siblings. Her acting journey began as an extra in television programs such as Doogie Howser Amen, M.D. and Doogie Howser Amen. When she was 13, she starred in her debut film, Friday. The film first gained attention in 1997 for her role in the role of Cisely batiste (a teenager who is struggling) as a troubled teenager in Eve's Bayou, for which she won two nominations and also received an N.A.A.C.P.
