Meagan and Kara

Meagan Good's maternal grandmother Tyra was in her teens when she worked at Panorama City as a manager and father Leondis Leon Good, a policeman with the LAPD. The acting career of Meagan Good began around the age of four. She was raised in Canyon Country, California with three of her siblings. She started her acting career as an extra in television series like Doogie Howser Amen, M.D. and Doogie Howser Amen. Her first movie, "Friday", was made in 1995, as she was 13 years old. The film first caught the attention of her performance as troubled teen Cisely Batiste in the film Eve's Bayou in 1997 for where she won two awards nominations. One of them was the first N.A.A.C.P. Image Award nomination. Good acted in small films and also on television in the next few years. She started taking on more mature roles in the early years of 2000. She was Nina, Nickelodeon T.V.'s Cousin Skeeter. It ran from 1998 until 2001. She has also had minor parts on the films House Party, Down to the Very Last Minute as well as 3 Strikes. The year 2003 saw her portrayed Vanessa Scott in My Wife and Kids. She was a part of D.E.B.S in 2004, an action comedy that saw the actress nominated as Best Actress in the Black Movie Awards of 2005. In the following years, she was in a variety of films, including Cookout Venom Waist deep and The Love Guru. In 2012, she appeared appearing on T.V. Her film roles include Mya (in her role in Think Like a Man, which starred a variety of actors) and Ms. Stevens (in Dysfunctional Friends). Kara Killmer...........................Kara Killmer is an American actress best known for portraying the character of Sylvie Brett in the NBC drama series 'Chicago Fire. Killmer was a student at Baylor University Waco Texas. The school awarded her the B.F.A. in 2010. She received a degree in performing art. She began her acting career in the web series If I Can Dream. Kara Killmer began her career on screen in the year 2010 following her appearances in several local plays. She appeared in Simon Fuller's Hulu Series If I Can Dream in its first episode. The reality series revolved around the group of actors who move into the house of Hollywood California.
