Meagan and Kara
Meagan Good's mother Tyra was just a teenager when she worked in Panorama City as a manager as well as her father Leondis Leon Good, a policeman from LAPD. She grew up with her three brothers at home in Canyon Country in California and started her acting career when she was just four years old. She appeared as an extra on TV shows including Doogie Howser Amen & M.D. in the beginning of her acting career. When she was 13years old, her first appearance in a movie Friday took place. She first gained attention for her performance as teenage troubled Cisely Batiste in the movie Eve's Bayou in 1997 for which she was awarded two nominations, including the first N.A.A.C.P. Image Award nominated. Good was able to play small role in television and films for the next couple of years and began transitioning into more seasoned roles in the beginning of 2000. Her Nickelodeon television show, Cousins Skeeter included her in the role of Nina. The actress was on Nickelodeon's T.V. show Cousin Skeeter, from 1998 to 2001. She was also cast in small roles for the film House Party down to the end of the Minute as well as 3 Strikes. She played Vanessa Scott's role in the comedy My Wife and Kids. The show was nominated for Best Actress for the Black Movie Awards, 2005. Then she appeared in several different films including Cookout Venom One miss call Waist deep The Love Guru and You Got Serve. While on both T.V. and in films her roles included Mya and the character of Ms. Stevens respectively in Think Like a Man with an impressive cast, and Dysfunctional The Friend, which featured a tiny group. Kara Killmer...........................Kara Killmer is an American actress best known for portraying the character of Sylvie Brett in the NBC drama series 'Chicago Fire. Killmer, originally from Texas has studied her studies at Baylor University Waco Texas where she earned the Bachelor of Fine Arts. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in 2010 in the performing arts. In 2010, she began her acting career in the web-series If I Can Dream. Kara Killmer, who had been in numerous local productions prior to her screen debut in the year 2010, starred on Simon Fuller's Hulu program If I Can Dream. The show was centered around an ensemble of individuals who started living in Hollywood California.
