Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts is the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus, and Walter Grady Roberts. She was born on the 28th of October 1967, in Atlanta. Roberts is the fourth Roberts generation that has lived in Atlanta, beginning with her grandfather who was a farmer, John Pendleton Roberts. Her father had keen interest from a young age in stage. As a student in Emory University he appeared in various productions both on and off the campus. In 1953, he enlisted in the Air Force and while stationed at Biloxi in Mississippi, he acted in a production that he performed in with Betty Lou Bredemus. They got married in the year 1955, and their first son Eric Anthony was born in 1956. Walter went to Tulane University New Orleans Louisiana following his departure from the Air Force in 1957. Walter began his work at Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. Walter along with Betty Lou began producing a television show for children in the city of Decatur, Georgia titled Bum Bum and His Buddies. They financed the production their own. The Actors and Writers Workshop was founded in 1964 and ran for 6 years. They welcomed in 1965 two more children into their lives: Lelisa Billingsley and Julia Billingsley.
