She is a renowned athlete within American history. She is among only six female athletes who have taken home trophies in all five World Cup competitions in alpine. She's won the title of 82 World Cup victories in total. An elite skier and one of the most successful ski racers have decided to retire after the World Championships, which take place in Sweden. The athlete retired following a lengthy list of health issues. She announced her retirement on social media.
