Caroline Vonn, also known by the name Lindsey Vonn, is an American World Cup alpine racer who is a member of the US Ski Team. She holds 4 overall World Cup victories. It is a professional athlete who has earned an impact in American popular culture. She is among only six female athletes who have taken home trophies in all five World Cup competitions in alpine. She has won the title of 82 World Cup victories in total. The top skier in the world and the most successful American racer in the sport of skiing has announced her retirement following their participation in the World Championship in Sweden. Four-time World Cup overall champion decided to retire after suffering several illnesses. Social media was utilized to announce her retirement. My final race of my professional career is scheduled to be at Re Sweden next week, in the Downhill World Championships as well as the SG World Championships.
