Lindsey Vonn (born 18 Oct 1984) is an ex-retired American alpine ski champion who won silver in the downhill section of the Winter Olympics 2010. Vonn is ranked second in the world of female and male skiers in terms of top scores. She's one of the most famous and most beloved skiers of the past. Caroline Vonn is a World Cup alpine skiing racer in the US. Also, she goes by Lindsey Vonn. Four times she has been crowned the winner of the World Cup overall competition. She is an athlete who has earned an impact within American popular culture. She is among only six female athletes who has won in each of the five Alpine Skiing World Cup events. She has won the title of 82 World Cup victories in total. World-class athlete and one of America's most popular ski racers has decided to retire after the World Championships, which take place in Sweden. She retired after a long list of health issues. The social media star used her platform to declare her decision to retire. The final race I will run in my racing career will take place on the island of Re Sweden next week, during the Downhill World Championships, as well as SG World Championships.
