In the Canadian Hot 100, and Billboard Hot 100, ranked the single at 19. Even Rolling Stone ranked the track as one of the year's most memorable Songs. The same year when she debuted Know It All. Scars to Your Beautiful, one of her five original tracks featured on the Billboard Charts including Billboard Hot 100 from Canada, and Billboard 200 for Canadian Albums Charts. According to an interview Cara did with Rap Up, this track had lots of meaning for many people listening who were drawn to her tale of learning to accept and love your self. Cara includes messages of love and kindness throughout her songs. Every song Cara sings comes directly from her struggle with depression, insomnia and other health issues. According to a Reuters' interview, she has described her album as half-tumultuous however, it is half finished. Her growth was aided through therapy. She also encourages her fellow singers who need help to reach out for support. Alessia Cara was born to Italian parents on July 11, 1996. She was given a guitar from her parents at the time she was 10, which ignited her musical passion. When she was thirteen, she began singing songs she adored on YouTube to prove to the public that she had talent and had the courage to make a profession of musician. Sweater Weather is one of the covers that resulted in her being discovered by EP Entertainment. This record label let her write her own songs.
