At the age of 19, she published her first debut single Here. The single was a smash and garnered praise from both listeners and critics alike. The song made it to the top 19 in both Billboard Hot 100 in Canada as well as the Canadian Hot 100. Even Rolling Stone named the track one of the top Songs in 2015. The singer released her debut Know It All album in the year that followed. The third track, Scars to Your Beautiful was one of five tracks which reached the top charts on Billboard including Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200 as well as Billboard Hot 100. Alessia Cara has been a Canadian musician since 1996. Her parents have Italian origin. Her parents gave her guitar at the age of 10, and it led to her passion for music. At the age of 13 she began covering her favorite songs via YouTube a major media platform in order to demonstrate to the world that she had the talents and determination to develop into an artist. In fact she covered one of her songs Sweater Weather became the song that made her the focus of EP Entertainment. They allowed her to create as well as record herself music.
