The singer released her debut single, Here, in 2015 when she was 19 years old. It was an instant hit, and both critics and fans praised the song. The Canadian Hot 100, and Billboard Hot 100, ranked the single at 19. Even Rolling Stone named the song one of the Top Songs in 2015. In the same year, she released her first album Know It All, the single Scars to Your Beautiful ranked at the Billboard Hot 100 and Canadian Albums Chart Billboard 200. It also was one of the original five songs. This track was special because, based on her interview with Rap-Up that she gave many of the listeners could relate to her experience in learning to love themselves as well as doubting herself. Cara includes messages of love and kindness into her music. All of Cara's music stems directly from her struggles with mental illness, insomnia and other health issues. When she spoke to Reuters, she said that her album was "half tumultuous" as well as "half perfect". The therapy she received made her stronger and she encourages people to try it too. Alessia Cara, a Canadian musician, was born in Canada on the 11th of July 1996, was a daughter of Italian descent parents. When she was just 10 years old her parents gave her a guitar which became the starting point of her love for music. In the year 2003, she turned 13 she started singing her most loved songs through YouTube. It proved to be a fantastic method to demonstrate to the world the fact that she had talent and courage. One of her tracks, Sweater Weather, was the one that got her attention. EP Entertainment gave her the opportunity to create and record her own tracks.
