Alison Krauss
Alison Krauss has been a country artist for more than 30 years. She was born in Decatur IL on the 23rd of July, 1971. LeAnn Kymes, as well as Krauss, were among the earliest Grammy Award-winners. Alison Maria Krauss - born July 23rd 1971 - is a popular American bluegrass and country vocalist. Her career in music began as a young girl, winning local contests by when she was 10 years old, and recording her first album when she was 14 years old. The year 1985 saw her enrolled with Rounder Records and in 1987 released her debut solo album. She was asked to join the group with which she still performs Alison Krauss and Union Station as well as releasing her debut album as a group in 1989.
